Wheel of Fortune

cyclesturning pointopportunity

Imagery and symbolism

A great wheel floats in the middle of the sky, inscribed with the letters TARO, Hebrew letters and alchemical symbols. A sphinx holding a sword sits on top, a serpent slides down one side, and a jackal-headed figure resembling Anubis rises on the other. In the four corners, an angel, an eagle, a lion and a bull sit on clouds with open books. Traditionally the card stands for the fact that life keeps turning, a natural cycle in which ups and downs take turns. It is read as a message to read the flow and seize opportunities rather than fear change.

Upright

My dayA pleasant, unexpected turn may come your way today. Keep your heart open to surprise offers or encounters.
WorkYou may be standing at a turning point. Moving nimbly with the change lets you make new opportunities your own.
Relationships & loveA new chapter is opening in your relationships. Accepting natural change lets the bond grow to the next level.
What is on my mindThis worry will not stay forever either. Pay attention to small signs so you can notice when the tide turns.

Reversed

My dayEven if something does not go to plan, try not to take it too hard. Today's detour may lead to a better path tomorrow.
WorkEven if things seem stalled, think of it as extra time to prepare. The groundwork you lay now will shine at the next opportunity.
Relationships & loveIf the same issue keeps coming back, it is time to look at the pattern together. Changing just one small habit can shift the flow.
What is on my mindSeparate what you cannot change from what you can. Putting your energy into what you can change gets the wheel turning again.

Advice

Rather than trying to stop change, practice keeping your balance as it moves.
